| THE BATHTUB SOPHIST The Bathtub Sophist is my home-recorded solo project. I work in organic and synthetic layers, usually mixing the two. The music is multi-genre, covering a range of styles and moods. My approach involves real and/or sequenced beats, guitar & bass work, sound effects, keyboards, midi comps, sampling, voice synthesizers, vox, object-foley, looping, field-recording, fractal/math generators and more. I dabble in all styles of music, from easy listening to industrial/metal. I'm proudly D.I.Y and am not above making a tambourine from bottle caps on a stick. |
