FEIRA LIVRE

Created by Gabriel Lopes and Tiago Mocotó, Feira Livre is a band of authors that use in their songs Brazilian rhythms such as samba, afoxé and partido alto. The band is in the documentary that director Wim Wenders shot in Brazil about world music and one of the songs composed by Gabriel and Tiago for a music video about disarmament has just won a golden award at Promax/BDA-Latin America.

Feira Livre seeks to innovate Brazilian traditions with soft melodies and strong lyrics.
