| DISHEVELED A fictional rock band formed by journeyman bassist Jim Mason. After accepting a scholarship to the University of Cincinnati in 1986 to play upright bass, Jim started his career by playing bass with anybody and anything, including a 5 year stint with Robin Lacy & Dezydeco. In 1997 Jim decided to retire from the gig scene and move to the country. Although it wasn't his intention to get involved with music again, songs would come to him so he decided to record them. Jim asked his old Cincinnati buddies to help him with the recording, including Ricky Nye and Brian Lovely, and so Disheveled was born and the album was completed in the year 2000. |
