BLACK HOLE

An instrumental orientated single man project in the vain of Progressive Rock. Black Hole offers a synth based approach and will also often move through many themes within one piece of music.

This EP contains a selection of tracks from Black Hole's catalogue, but the final two tracks on the album are the most appropriate in terms of the Sound Aid project. The final tracks project depict the hardships of farming in drought affected countries. "Raindance" is based around the switch of the seasonal weather systems in areas such as India, where local farmers depend on the switch of air masses for a reliable rainfall with which to irrigate their crops, which they need to feed families, and sell for money. "The Harvest" continues on from "Raindance" and depicts the build up to the imminent rainfall wish is desperately required by farmers and families. The track then conveys the euphoria when the rain does arrive in the dramatic climax to the piece.
